About Us
Pastors Herman & Yolandita Colón
Pastors Herman and Yolandita Colón are ordained ministers who have been married for 33 years and have served
together in ministry for more than three decades. Their lives and ministry have been shaped by a deep hunger
for God, a love for His presence and His Word, and a calling to help prepare the Church for revival.
Born in the United States and of Puerto Rican descent, they are bilingual and bicultural, ministering in both
English and Spanish and serving Hispanic and English-speaking communities alike.
A Burden for Revival
At the heart of that calling is a burden for genuine revival—not revival centered on personalities,
platforms, or emotional experiences, but a true return to God: knowing Him, loving His Word, responding to the
Holy Spirit, living surrendered lives, and carrying His presence into our churches, families, and communities.
Their desire is to awaken spiritual hunger, call believers into deeper intimacy with God, and equip people to
become faithful carriers of His presence, His Word, and His purposes.
Our Pastoral Journey
Together, Herman and Yolandita founded and pastored a church in Faribault, Minnesota, for ten years. God later
called them to serve in the inner city of Minneapolis, where they served as senior pastors for nearly thirteen years.
Throughout more than two decades of pastoral leadership, they ministered through preaching, teaching, worship,
prayer, discipleship, leadership development, outreach, and community ministry. Their pastoral years were marked
by a commitment to biblical teaching, the presence of God, integrity, servant leadership, spiritual maturity, and
creating a church culture where people from different backgrounds could feel welcomed and valued. Their ministry
also extended beyond the walls of the church into community advocacy and practical service to people in need.
Although they are no longer serving as pastors of a local congregation, their pastoral calling and love for the
Church have never left them. Today, they continue serving the Body of Christ in a different capacity through
revival gatherings, biblical teaching, prayer, worship, leadership development, writing, publishing, and equipping
others to carry the message God has entrusted to them.
Pastor Herman Colón
Pastor Herman Colón is an ordained minister who served in full-time ministry for twenty-two years and has more than thirty years of ministry
experience. His leadership has included serving as District Youth Director and Presbyter for the Midwest Latin
American District, working with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, serving on the Board of Regents of
North Central University, serving with Transform Minnesota, and serving alongside Yolandita as co-director with
the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.
With a heart for unity among spiritual leaders, Herman also founded a monthly prayer gathering for Latino pastors
in Minnesota. What began as a place for pastors to come together in prayer and fellowship continued beyond his
leadership and remains active today, having developed into an association for pastors under new leadership.
Herman is also the author of Be Still: How to Soak in God’s Presence. He is a devoted husband,
father, minister, and leader who deeply loves God, his family, and people. His ministry has been characterized by
servant leadership, perseverance, vision, and a desire to help others grow in their relationship with Christ.
Pastor Yolandita Colón
Pastor Yolandita Colón is an ordained minister, author, prophetic worship leader, teacher, speaker, and founder
of Selah Summit Press. Her ministry carries a strong emphasis on revival, the presence of God, biblical truth,
worship, prayer, and helping believers move beyond simply knowing about God into truly knowing Him—His
character, His ways, His Word, and His presence.
Through Selah Summit Press, Yolandita helps pastors, ministers, and faith-driven authors take the messages God
has entrusted to them and develop them into books that can continue speaking beyond the pulpit and impact
future generations.
She is the author of several books, including The Almighty I AM, Revival Worshipers For The Last Days, and
Sons Built to Stand. Through her teaching and writing, she calls believers into greater spiritual
hunger, deeper surrender, renewed faith, and a life that responds to God in worship, obedience, and purpose.
Herman and Yolandita both hold honorary doctorate degrees in Theology in recognition of their years of ministry and service.
Selah Ministries & The I AM Summit
Together, they lead Selah Ministries, through which they host The I AM Summit and other training conferences and
ministry gatherings centered on revival, worship, prayer, biblical teaching, spiritual awakening, and deeper
encounters with God.
The I AM Summit was born from this burden: to create a place where believers can step away from the noise, become
hungry for God again, encounter Him through His Word, worship, prayer, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and
leave equipped to carry revival beyond a summit and into everyday life.
Their desire is not to build a following around themselves, but to strengthen believers in their relationship
with Christ so they can return to their families, churches, and communities carrying a deeper hunger for God and
a greater sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
They also founded Bless My City, a nonprofit prayer ministry that brings believers together to pray for their
communities, churches, leaders, and cities, with a heart to see spiritual awakening and transformation.
Family
Beyond ministry, Herman and Yolandita deeply treasure their family. They are grateful parents of two sons,
blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-love, and joyfully awaiting the arrival of their first grandchild.
At the center of everything we do
Revival begins with knowing God and waiting in His presence.
Their desire is to know Him, make Him known, and help prepare a people who will carry His presence, His Word,
and the fire of revival into their churches, families, communities, and generation.
