About the Author

Dr. Yolandita Colón

Dr. Yolandita Colón

Dr. Yolandita Colón is an author, ordained minister, entrepreneur, mother, and woman of faith who believes that family is sacred, covenant is serious, and legacy is intentional. Of Puerto Rican descent, she writes from the heart of a mother who has spent years praying over her sons' identity, purity, purpose, character, and future families.

Her years of ministry, teaching, mentoring, and leadership have shaped her passion to strengthen the next generation with biblical truth and practical wisdom. Alongside her husband, Dr. Herman Colón Jr., she has labored to raise sons built to stand — young men anchored in Christ, wisdom, integrity, and the fear of the Lord.

Through Sons Built to Stand, Dr. Colón calls sons and young men to resist compromise, honor wisdom, and become men who can build strong lives, stable marriages, and secure families. She loves her sons fiercely, believes in their strength, and continues to pray that they — and the generations after them — will stand.
